Dairy Technology

Department of Dairy Technology is one of the core departments of Mansinhbhai Institute of Dairy & Food Technology (MIDFT), Mehsana and was established in 2011. There are four regular faculty members in Department of Dairy Technology. Three faculty members are having Doctorate degree and one faculty member is having M.Tech degree and pursuing in-service Ph.D. Moreover the faculty members have also undertaken Advanced Training in CAFTs and/or summer/ Winter Schools/Trainings conducted by various organizations. Department’s main areas of working are teaching (B.Tech, M.Tech, and In-service Ph.D.), research and development. During the 10 years of duration since its establishment, Department of Dairy Technology has secured a good position in national and international level. Faculty members of the department have also published several research papers as well as books in the areas of dairy and food technology. All students passed out from the department are well placed either in dairy industry or perusing higher studies in national level institutes and foreign universities.
