MIDFT Professor Dr. Deepak Mudgil ranked in the Stanford’s list of World top 2% scientists

A recent study conducted by US-based Stanford University has released the list of the top 2% most cited scientists across the world in different disciplines for year 2022. The list has been prepared by Prof. John PA Ioannidis on the basis of the number of papers published, citations, H-index, co-authorship and composite indicator. The results have been published in PloS Biology and have been classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. Dr. Deepak Mudgil, Assistant Professor of Department of Dairy Technology, Mansinhbhai Institute of Dairy and Food Technology, Mehsana has been placed in the list of the top 2% most cited scientists of the world for 2022. Dr. Deepak Mudgil secured 8th rank in India and 226th rank in Food Science in the world. He has been actively working in the area of food and dairy science. His expertise includes process development and characterization of functional foods. Dr. Mudgil have published 8 books and filed 3 patents. He has also published more than 60 papers in international and national journals with more than 4600 citations.
