About Training centre:
MIDFT is registered as a vocational training provider with Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative (FICSI). Further to strengthen the hands-on-skills, a Students Training Dairy (STD)-MIDFT is established by Dudhsagar Research and Development Association (DURDA) as skill development training centre, partly funded by Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) for providing training and skills to the aspirants in the areas of milk processing.
Trainings imparted in the following four job roles:
FIC/Q2002 | Dairy Processing Equipment Operator |
FIC/Q2003 | Butter and Ghee Processing Operator |
FIC/Q2004 | Ice Cream Processing Technician |
FIC/Q2005 | Cottage Cheese Maker |
Training duration and content:
- All the job roles are approved by National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF).
- Training programme in each job role will be of 240 hours and will be conducted as per the guidelines of training module designed by FICSI.
- Training certificate will be provided by FICSI after successful completion of the course.
Eligibility criteria:
Any candidate who has cleared H.S.C (10+2) can apply for the training in these registered job roles.

The candidates will be assisted for enrollment in FICSI’s job portal and in further job placements under skill development programme of Govt. of India.
