A recent study conducted by US-based Stanford University has released the list of the top 2% most cited scientists across the world in different disciplines for year 2021. The list has been prepared by Prof. John PA Ioannidis on the basis of the number of papers published, citations, H-index, co-authorship and composite indicator. The results have been published in PloS Biology and have been classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. Dr. Deepak Mudgil & Dr. Sheweta Barak, Assistant Professors of Department of Dairy Technology, Mansinhbhai Institute of Dairy and Food Technology, Mehsana has been placed in the list of the top 2% most cited scientists of the world for 2021. Dr. Deepak Mudgil secured 7th rank and Dr. Sheweta Barak secured 28th Rank in Food Science in India.


Dr. Deepak Mudgil ranked in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list published by Stanford University and Elsevier. he has secured 42641 rank in the world (all categories) and 256 rank in Food Science category in the world and 7th Rank in the Food Science Category in India on the basis of papers published, citations, H-index.
