Mansinhbhai Institute of Dairy & Food Technology (MIDFT) celebrated India Space Week 2024 on August 14, 2024, a special event organized annually from August 12 to August 18 by Bharat Antriksh Saptah. This week is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the renowned space scientist who was instrumental in establishing India’s premier space agency, ISRO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme for India Space Week 2024 is “Space Education and Employment.” In alignment with this theme, the B.Tech D.T. students of MIDFT participated in the celebrations by composing essays that explored the significance of space education and the various employment opportunities within the space sector. Through their essays, the students engaged with the theme, reflecting on the impact of space science and technology on our lives and the future prospects within this exciting field. This initiative not only honors Dr. Sarabhai’s contributions but also inspires the next generation to explore and contribute to the expanding realm of space science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
