Ltd., Kadi (Gujarat). He is a certified Farm Advisor (organic farming, certified by MANAGE, GOI) and a Food Safety Mitra (certified by FSSAI, GOI). He has an experience of more than 15 years in industry and recipient of several prominent awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About 120 students, faculties and dairy officials were sensitized through the expert lecture. The programme was begun with honouring the guest with flowers. Our Principal &amp; Dean, Dr. D.A. Shukla gave an overview of various activities conducted by Innovation Cell (SSIP) at MIDFT on regular intervals. He also briefly discussed on different technologies developed by students under SSIP projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his enlightening talk, the expert speaker Dr. Deepak Kumar enlightened on the production of organic agriculture crops as well as organic milk from farm animals, their certification process and role of different regional &amp; national governing bodies in the whole documentation procedure till labelling and export of the finished products. Then, he discussed on recent trends &amp; future scope of organic food production with special emphasis on business models with entrepreneurship opportunities for the young dairy technocrats. Students &amp; faculties earnestly interacted with the expert and appreciated his experience and valuable insights on various aspects of orgnic food production and entrepreneurship. At the end of the programme, SSIP coordinator-MIDFT, Dr. Ami Patel offered vote of thanks to the audience and offered her gratitude to the Expert speaker and also motivated students to broaden their thinking and work on challenges faced during dairy operations.
