MIDFT is affiliated with Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar. At present, MIDFT offers B. Tech. in (Dairy Technology); admits about 44 students in B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) degree program.  

B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) degree program is formulated in line with the constant demand of Dairy and Food industry. During 4 year of B. Tech (DT) curriculum, students are offered a total 56 courses from the field of Dairy Technology (12 courses), Dairy Engineering (15 courses), Dairy Microbiology (7 courses), Dairy Chemistry (9 courses) and Dairy Business Management (13 courses) to inculcate a specialized knowledge and understanding in the field of Dairy Technology.
