Millet Mahotsav and Prakrutik Farmer Market 2026

A two-day Millet Festival was being held in Mehsana (Gujarat) on 21st –22nd March 2026 to promote ‘Shree Anna’ (Millets) and support farmers. The Millet Mahotsav aims to raise awareness about the nutritional benefits of millets, support natural farming practices, and strengthen the link between farmers and consumers while improving farmers’ income.

In this Expo, one stall was set up by DudhSagar Dairy in order to create awareness and directly sell organic millets as well as millet-based products to consumers. From MIDFT, our B.Tech (DT) students also participated enthusiastically in the event and showcased millet based products developed by them on both the days. The details of food products prepared by teams of faculty and students of MIDFT are provided in below table.
